    Software Engineer

    Codeweavers Ltd, Cox Automotive

My journey with Codeweavers began as a placement student, followed by working part-time during my final year of university, ultimately returning as a full-time software engineer in July 2026.

    • Day to day development in a large production codebase, often practicing test-driven development, and utilising AI to maximise workflows and development.
    • I investigate and solve the root cause of support tickets around project work.
    • Great soft skills kept up via company-wide presentations, workshops and constant stakeholder communication.
    • Learned to translate high level business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Use of DBMS such as Postgres, SQL Server, Cassandra, as well as cloud services within AWS, and Google Cloud.
    • Resolved common security vulnerabilities in code.
    • Spending lots of time pair programming, investigating issues spanning different teams and constant collaboration has been invaluable for my teamwork ability.
